Official NimBuzz Website Hacked with its Subdomains by Iranian Hackers

  • An official Nimbuzz website with its subdomains hacked and defaced by an Iranian Black Hat Hacker with the handle Sourena. The site is down at the time of writing.



    Nimbuzz, free instant, mobile messenger for Windows, Mac and mobile websites hacked and defaced by an Iranian black hat with no specific reason. It looks like the hacker hacked the sites for fun or just to increase zone-h defacements.

    Anatomy of the attack is not known, but its clear, hacker managed to get into the server, uploaded shell and defaced the websites with its subdomains. It seems that hacked subdomains are hosted on the same web server.

    Deface Page:

    It's not clear, how much damage was done by the hacker and what level of access hacker got on Nimbuzz server but Nimbuzz need to take a decent look into the security of the website. At the time of writing, the official website was down.
